WHY BATONGA IS THE RIGHT CHARITY PARTNER FOR YOUR BUSINESS
A TRUSTED PARTNER
Our reputation precedes us. Founded by the first African woman to be a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, Batonga operates with trusted partners, funders, and individuals. We work on a wide range of issues: from financial literacy to entrepreneurship, professional trainings, mentoring and solar energy (to name a few). Partnerships can be tailored around a particular area of interest.
A MISSION YOU CAN SUPPORT
Our mission is simple: to serve the girls and young women who have been left out of traditional development initiatives and who fall between the cracks of poverty alleviation efforts in Africa. Batonga has taken on the exciting challenge of scaling its model to new communities and countries in West Africa. Help us get to places where women and girls need our support!

MATCHING GIFTS:
CLICK HERE TO SEE IF YOUR COMPANY WILL MATCH YOUR DONATION
-
Your gift to Batonga could be matched dollar for dollar by your employer. Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees, retirees and/or employees’ spouses.
If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your employer, and send it completed and signed with your gift.
If your company uses an online matching gift portal, use it to submit your matching gift verification request. Look Batonga up by our EIN: 20-59273878 or our address: 2202 18th St. NW, #123, Washington, DC 20009.
By committing to matching gifts received by Batonga, not only do you help us mobilize much-needed resources, but you encourage others to give as well! Matching gifts are an incredible way to increase revenue that will then be used to support those who need it the most.

Whether it is to help us organize a fundraiser in New York to hear Angélique Kidjo sing, or to help us obtain auction items to sell to our LA community, sponsorship lets us save resources for what matters most: the girls we support. Let’s talk about what you might be interested in sponsoring: info@batongafoundation.org
HOST A WORKPLACE GIVING CAMPAIGN

Generosity is contagious. When an employee gives, often colleagues join in! Help us work with your employees to inform them about Batonga and our work, and to invite them to join us on our journey towards gender equality. Your company can also support employee giving through matching gifts.
