Singer, Songwriter and Performer
Josh Groban, an internationally renowned singer, songwriter and performer, is the newest member of our Advisory Board. Angélique Kidjo, our founder, toured with Josh in 2007. When it comes to their work together, Josh says, “Her voice, her spirit, the way she connects is awe-inspiring and I’m so honored to have collaborated with her.”
The two music artists will now collaborate philanthropically through Josh’s new role as an Advisory Board member of the Batonga Foundation. Josh has demonstrated his passion for improving the lives of children with his foundation the Josh Groban Foundation (www.grobanitesforcharity.org), which focuses on providing children with a better life through education, healthcare, and the arts.
Batonga is excited to team up with Josh in our mission to give girls in Africa a secondary school and higher education.
